O Centro Interpretativo do Barroco dá a conhecer este estilo artístico na região do Alto-Minho, servindo de porta de entrada para o Barroco nos 10 concelhos do distrito de Viana do Castelo. No interior, encontram-se alguns dos melhores exemplares da arte religiosa portuguesa dos séculos XVII e XVIII. Resultou da requalificação da Igreja do Espírito Santo, que é uma das mais valiosas jóias do Barroco português, classificada em 1977 como Imóvel de Interesse Público.

The Baroque Interpretive Centre showcases this artistic style in the Alto-Minho region, serving as a gateway to the Baroque in the 10 municipalities of the Viana do Castelo district. Inside, you'll find some of the best examples of Portuguese religious art from the 17th and 18th centuries. It resulted from the refurbishment of the Church of the Holy Spirit, which is one of the most valuable jewels of the Portuguese Baroque and was classified as a Property of Public Interest in 1977.
