Não dizemos: água e pedras. Dizemos: rio. Sabemos que é um ecossistema interdependente e simbiótico, cujos elementos se aprendem e adaptam entre si continuamente, desde sempre. Tocamos a lisura de um seixo e sabemos que esse alisar levou tempo. Da mesma forma, não dizemos: voz e electrónica. Dizemos: Dullmea. Não apenas a voz, mas tudo o que habita a respiração, inundam o labirinto electrónico e geram um organismo uno, indivisível – é o rio. Depois chegam os cardumes de direções imprevisíveis, melodias de prata que serpenteiam hipnotizantes; nas margens, propagam-se lentas e densas as texturas minimalistas; de repente, um golpe na membrana anfíbia do microfone, rompendo a horizontalidade sónica; mais à frente, um pulsar assertivo de nascente. Dullmea tomou o tempo para gerar um ecossistema onde os elementos interagem e os limites entre voz e electrónica se esfumam, como que embebidos de uma natureza ilusionista.

Dullmea explora a miríade de possibilidades entre voz e eletrónica desde 2016.

Lançou Keter (2016), Hemisphaeria (2019), o ciclo de peças [dʊl’mjə]̯ (2020), Orduak (2021), LOGLIBRO N - RO. 01, Live at Sinsal Outono 2022, Lloc Comú (2023) e Ñe’ẽsẽ (2024). Entre outros, Dullmea tocou ao vivo em Nijmegen (NL), Eindhoven (NL), Viena (AT), Turim (IT), Barcelona (ES), São Paulo (BR) – MAC, Berlim (DE), Copenhaga (DK) , Milton Keynes (Reino Unido) – Exposição de Paula Rego “Obediente and Defiance”.

Também compõe música para teatro.

We don't say: water and stones. We say: river. We know that it is an interdependent and symbiotic ecosystem, whose elements have been learning and adapting to each other continuously, since forever. We touch the smoothness of a pebble and we know that this smoothing took time. In the same way, we don't say: voice and electronics. We say: Dullmea. Not just the voice, but everything that inhabits the breath, floods the electronic labyrinth and generates a single, indivisible organism - it's the river. Then come the shoals of unpredictable directions, silver melodies that meander mesmerisingly; on the banks, minimalist textures spread slowly and densely; suddenly, a blow to the amphibious membrane of the microphone, breaking the sonic horizontality; further on, an assertive spring pulse. Dullmea has taken the time to generate an ecosystem where the elements interact and the boundaries between voice and electronics blur, as if soaked in an illusionist nature.

Dullmea is a musician and composer exploring the myriad of possibilities for voice and electronics since 2016.

She released Keter (2016), Hemisphaeria (2019) and [dʊl’mjə̯] (2020) a work-in-progress album, Orduak (2021), LOGLIBRO N​-​RO. 01, Live at Sinsal Outono 2022, Lloc Comú (2023) and Ñe’ẽsẽ (2024).
